Application Guildlines For 2014 Recruitment into the Nigerian Navy

Candidates are advised to read these instructions carefully before completing the application:

1.) Candidates should possess any of the following educational and/Professional                 

     qualifications (see Guide to Candidates on Educational Requirements for Entry 

     Category):

• West African School Certificate/Senior Secondary School Certificate.
• General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level.
• WAEC City and Guilds or London City and Guild.
• Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
• Any other educational qualification equivalent to those mentioned above.
• All candidates must produce their primary school leaving certificate.
• Candidates are to note that entry requirement into the following categories is SSCE or equivalent: B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 C1, D1, D2, D4, D5, D6, E1, E2, E3, E4, F1, G, H. Any other additional qualifications in these categories can only serve as an added advantage for selection into the branch and not for advancement. See the guide for details.

Nigerian Army - This is to inform the general public and all interested qualified candidates that the online registration for the 72 Regular Recruits Intake for both Trades/Non Tradesmen and women will commence on 8 September 2014 and end on 18 October, 2014.

Basic Qualification

Applicants must:

• Possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be in English Language.
• In addition to above qualification, those applying as tradesmen/women must also posses OND/Trade Test/City and Guild Certificate. Details are available on the website.
• Be between the ages of 18 - 22 years for non tradesmen/women while tradesmen/women must be between the ages of 18-26 years by 01 November 2014.
• Not be less than 1.65 metres and 1.56 metres tall for male and female respectively.

NDA - Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna - List of Successful and Reserve Candidates for Admission into 66 Regular Combatant Course

1. The candidates whose names appear below were successful at the Armed Forces Selection Board Interview held 5 July to 11 August 2014. The candidates have been offered admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) for the 66th Regular Course. They are to report for training at the NDA (Permanent Site), Kaduna on Saturday 27 September 2014. Any candidate who fails to report by Monday 29 September 2014 will forfeit his or her place to a candidate on the reserve list.

2. Selected candidates will be received on arrival at the Reception Centre located at the Academy Parade Ground (Permanent Site).
