Apple iWatch to launch alongside iPhone 6 in October 2014

Rumour: Apple are thought to be testing a smartwatch with wireless charging

A new report form Chinese analysts C Technology claims Apple has tested two prototypes and the device could support wireless charging.

Apple could be gearing up to launch an iWatch alongside iPhone 6 in October 2014, according to a report from a Chinese tech website.

C Technology are reporting the California tech giant has already tested two prototype smartwatches, but hasn't settled on a screen size for the new device.
The report claims Apple are planning to release the device with a wireless charger which automatically tops up its battery when the wearer is up to a metre away.
Samsung launched their Galaxy Gear smartwatch in September, but Apple have reportedly held off on launching a rival device until they can find a simple, elegant solution to the problem of battery life.
C Technology say Apple has been hoping to find ways to extend battery life of the iWatch to 4-5 days - three days longer than the Galaxy Gear.
The iPhone 6, also rumoured to launch in September or October could feature a curved screen, after it emerged Apple had obtained a patent for such a display last week.
