Graduate IT Engineer at American University of Nigeria

The American University of Nigeria, Yola, is seeking Permanent IT Engineers. This position is local position and opens to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Engineer

Location: Yola, Adamawa

Summary of Position:

• The IT Engineer assists students, faculty and staff to maintain, repair and configure laptops and desktops.
• IT Engineer is responsible for general maintenance of University's desktops and laptops.

Position Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field, with 1 (one) year of experience.
• Advanced knowledge of university supported applications.
• Ability to learn and support new technologies.
• Possess high level interpersonal communication skills.
• Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• Adequate knowledge of AUN Policies and Procedures and the university IT Policy.
• Possess high level interpersonal communication skills.
• Certifications in MCSE, CCNA and others are preferable.

Other requirements, abilities for the position:

• Adequate knowledge of AUN Policies and Procedures and the university IT Policy.
• Possess high level interpersonal communication skills.

Remuneration

• Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and job classification as approved by the University.
